BIO
I fell in love with volleyball playing in sand/Grass leagues in spring 2022 and have played almost nonstop since. Over time, I shifted my focus to indoor volleyball, where I found my stride. Through consistent practice and a commitment to improvement, I worked my way to strong placements in competitive cash tournaments. This dedication helped me earn a spot on the 24'-25' University of Nevada Men’s Club A Team as an outside hitter, with some practice as a defensive specialist and libero. While indoor is now my primary focus, I still enjoy playing outdoors when the weather is nice. I started coaching volleyball classes in July 2023 and soon transitioned to coaching club volleyball. As a coach, I strive to create a healthy and supportive environment where players can grow both mentally and physically. My coaching philosophy emphasizes an athletic & competitive mindset that values hard work, focus, and a relentless desire to improve. My goal is to empower players to enhance their skills while fostering a mindset that promotes growth and achievement in all areas of life. In addition to volleyball, I have a diverse athletic background. I earned state placements as a football and track and field athlete and was a district qualifier in swimming during high school. These experiences have shaped my coaching style, blending mental toughness with athletic preparation to help athletes reach their full potential.

BIO
Hey! I’m Coach Collin, and I’ve been a coach at Reno Volleyball Club for about three years. During this time, I’ve had the opportunity to work with athletes of all ages and skill levels, focusing primarily on coaching youth club travel teams. In addition to coaching, I’ve dedicated several years to improving my own skills as a player, learning to play all sides of the game. I’ve specialized as a Right Side/Setter and Libero, allowing me to grow alongside my students. As a coach, my goal is to teach my athletes skills they can apply both on and off the volleyball court—skills that will serve them well throughout their lives. I believe that improvement and learning are lifelong journeys, both in sports and beyond. Over the last three years, I’ve developed a personal and encouraging coaching style, working closely with players to meet their individual needs, interests, and communication preferences. My aim is to create a fun and efficient path for player development, helping each athlete reach their full potential.

Gracie Stewart
BIO
Hello! I am Coach Gracie. I have had a love for Volleyball for many years and love to instill that passion into my players. I have been a coach for 3 years and have been playing Volleyball for 10 years now, and to this day nothing makes me happier than stepping on the court. I have played every position during my time in competitive Volleyball including being a hitter, setter and libero. That versatility has helped me so much in coaching any type of player. My biggest coaching philosophy is that Volleyball isn't just about the game itself, it is about teaching the players skills that they will be able to use for the rest of their lives, including teamwork, integrity, and resilience. All these skills are instrumental in making a successful adult and the players can take these skills with them after their volleyball journey. It is such a privilege to coach these young people and watch their love for Volleyball grow!
